Residents can dispose of unwanted and unused household hazardous waste as well as electronics on Saturdays during ToxDrop events throughout the city. ToxDrop services are only for residents of Marion County.

Household hazardous waste (HHW) is hazardous waste generated by households that is ignitable, toxic, reactive, corrosive, or otherwise poses a threat to human health or the environment.

What can I dispose of at ToxDrop?
Acceptable household hazardous waste includes the items listed below. You can dispose of 20 gallons of liquid waste or 75 pounds of solid waste per visit. Transport it in plastic crates, cardboard boxes, storage bins, or in other containers that are easy to see through and access. Waste brought in trash bags may not be accepted.
