Subscribe to Email Lists

First, a little background about discussion lists. A “discussion list” allows subscribing members (sometimes even people outside the list) to post to “the list”. Those posts are then broadcast by email to all of the other list members. Recipients may respond to “the list” or to the person who sent the email to the list, thus, discussion and information exchanges occur. These particular Email lists will stick to Neighborhood watch information and things most of us consider to be alerts concerning things like utility outages, severe weather, missing or found pets…things like that.  Discussions will stick to those types of topics on those lists.
